Terms and Conditions of Use
These Terms and Conditions of Use govern your access to and use of mtgcards.co.uk, including the purchase of products through the website.
By using this website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
1. About Us
Website: mtgcards.co.uk
Trading name: MTGCards UK
Contact: Please use our website contact form.
2. Use of the Website
You agree to use mtgcards.co.uk only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
Use the website in a way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
-
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
-
Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material.
-
Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission.
-
Use the website to conduct fraudulent activity or place dishonest orders.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate.
However:
-
Product availability may change without notice.
-
Colours may appear differently depending on your screen and device.
-
Product photographs may contain minor differences caused by lighting or image reproduction.
-
Individual Magic: The Gathering cards are normally photographed individually, and the photograph is intended to represent the actual card offered for sale.
We reserve the right to correct errors or omissions in product information.
4. Product Photographs and Card Condition
Customers should carefully review the product photographs and description before placing an order.
For individual MTG singles, the product image is an actual photograph of the card being sold. MTG single-card returns are not accepted solely because a customer changes their mind or because the card differs from their expectations where the listing accurately represented the product.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, misdescribed or damaged before delivery.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on the website are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
Prices and delivery charges are subject to change. Any changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted, except where an obvious pricing or description error has occurred.
Payment must be made using the payment methods made available during checkout.
We do not dispatch an order until payment has been successfully authorised or received.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will normally receive an order acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of the order or dispatch the products, whichever occurs first.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where:
-
A product is unavailable.
-
There is an obvious pricing or product-description error.
-
Payment cannot be authorised.
-
We suspect fraudulent or abusive activity.
-
We are unable to deliver to the supplied address.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.
7. Dispatch and Delivery
We endeavour to dispatch orders received before 2:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays.
During peak periods, including Black Friday and Christmas, dispatch and delivery may take longer due to increased order volumes and possible Royal Mail delays.
If there are delays in dispatching orders, this will be stated at the top of the website where possible.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, courier companies, adverse weather, industrial action or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address supplied at checkout is accurate.
8. Card Packaging
Orders containing cards valued at more than £5 will be placed in a protective toploader inside a letter envelope.
We take reasonable care to package products securely and appropriately for their type and value.
9. Returns and Refunds
Our full returns process is described in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
In general:
-
Accessories may be returned for unwanted reasons within 14 days of delivery, subject to the applicable conditions.
-
Return postage for unwanted items is paid by the customer.
-
Sealed products and accessories must be returned unopened, undamaged and in their original packaging.
-
Products returned in an unsuitable condition may be subject to a reduced refund, where legally permitted.
-
Faulty or damaged products should be reported to us as soon as possible, with photographs where available.
-
Where a product is faulty or damaged in transit, we may provide a return postage label and normally offer a replacement or exchange, subject to availability.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights.
10. Acceptable Returns Packaging
All returned products must be packaged safely and securely to prevent damage during transit.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service and retaining the tracking number until the return has been processed.
We cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged while being sent back by the customer where the customer arranged the return delivery.

The version published on this page will apply to your use of the website from the date it is posted. The Terms in force when an order is accepted will generally apply to that order.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers in their country of residence.
